Why a site with { Surveys } you might ask? Well,
sometimes I ask myself that too... It all started when my wife and I were
having one of those silly, seemingly meaningless arguments that married couples
seem to have. "How many men in this country do dishes? And how many couples
swap duties; if one cooks, the other does the dishes?..." I thought, "Man, if
only there was a way for me to back up my position."
A lightbulb came on! Build a website... And BuildMySurvey.com was born.
A logical way to prove a point? I'm not sure... It's the democratic way, right?
You know, the majority vote wins.
So I thought well, since they're aren't enough bytes clogging the internet
super highway that Al Gore built, I should build another... And why not make it
fun with a lot of cool stuff... Anyways >>> Have Fun!!!
(In all reality... This site is a way for me to work out some .NET development
stuff.)

Create a Survey to settle an argument democratically, pick a baby name, choose a
band name, choose a website name, pick a wedding dress, pick a president, or
whatever you want. Have your friends, family and co-workers vote for
your survey.
Register...
When you register you can create as many surveys as you want... If
you're interested in adding your own survey for others to answer, click the
register link. You can answer as many surveys as you want, but you can only
answer them once.
Survey Features...
 New! Include
The Survey In Your Site... You can now include the survey in your site
using an iframe tag. You can now include your survey in any web site (including myspace.com)
so anyone can vote for your survey. Here's how you do it:
First: Create your survey and add your answers that you'd like people to
vote for.
Second: When you view the details of your survey you'll see a section at the bottom of
the page "Include Survey In Your Site". Simply copy the text and paste it into your site
where you want the chart to show.
Third: You can use these properties to change the look of your chart.
w = Width of your survey chart.
h = Height of your survey chart.
bgcolor = Color of your survey chart background in hexidecimal color value (Ex: FFFFFF = White).
Create Custom Survey... You
can customize your Surveys as far as color, chart type, descriptions and
categories. You can even upload a picture for a survey so voters can respond to
a picture. Once you've created and categorized your survey, it will show up on
the site under the appropriate category >> For the first 3 days it will
appear on the home page so voters can quickly vote. (image upload coming
soon...)
Send To Your
Friends/Family/Co-Workers... You can create a custom "contacts" list so
once you create a survey, you can send it to your contacts with a link making
it easy to vote. (coming soon...)
Save/View Your Survey History...
You can edit and view your surveys anytime you want.
Use RSS Feeds To View Results
Realtime... You have the ability to use an RSS aggregator or
KlipFolio to see your survey results in real-time without opening a web
browser. Now! Klips are
available for BuildMySurvey.com. Just download and install the klip viewer by
clicking the link above or the image link to the right and then download the
klip here.
 you will then
have live survey data without opening your browser.
